ABOUT patsy

Patsy is a dedicated professional with 14 years of membership in Paducah Professional Women, where she has led various committees, including Professional Development and Membership. With extensive educational credentials, including multiple associates and bachelor’s degrees focused on business, sales, and marketing, she transitioned from 14 years in retail sales to becoming a Realtor with Keller Williams Experience Realty in 2021.

Outside of her career, she’s actively involved in community service, including membership in the Charity League of Paducah and recognition as Chamber Connector of the Month in May 2023 for her contributions to the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce. In her personal life, Patsy enjoys working out, traveling, attending concerts, and giving back to her community.

jessica ashworth
Vice-President

ABOUT jessica

With a recent Harvard Business School credential in Digital Marketing, Jessica is a non-profit marketing professional with a passion for fundraising and bringing social impact to Paducah. In addition to her role as Vice President of Paducah Professional Women, she serves as the New Member Chair for the Charity League of Paducah and is a member of Paducah Young Professionals.

Jessica would say her greatest achievement is her 4-year-old son, Leyton, whom she hopes to instill inclusivity, acceptance, kindness and confidence into. Her own personality is marked by creativity, determination, and a sense of adventure. From quoting all the Fast & Furious movies to backpacking solo through Europe, to becoming a published author in high school, Jessica’s life is filled with exciting experiences and notable achievements.

ABOUT aseer

Aseer Scott serves as the treasurer of the Paducah Professional Women organization. She is also the Director of operations and small business owner of Ace Academy, LLC. Ace Academy, LLC is dedicated to helping students with barriers find their why in life and connect them with the resources to get them there. Aseer is passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders and is actively involved in the community.

Aseer holds a masters of Child and family studies from WKU, a bachelors of science in
Psychology and Sociology from Bradley University, an associates in art and science from John a Logan college, and a business entrepreneurship certificate from WKCTC.

Aside from her volunteer work and business, Aseer is the wife of Jesse Scott. They have three amazing children: Micah (12), Jonah (9), and Ariah (7). In her free time, Aseer enjoys playing a game of basketball or pickleball, beating her kids in uno, and watching movies with her family.

2024 – 2025 Committees

 the MEMBERSHIP

DUTIES: The membership committee shall promote, expand, stabilize, and orient the membership; maintain a current list of member names and contact information; reach out to members who have been absent; or have experienced a loss or medical issue. Membership coordinates greeting new and prospective members at all corporation functions including monthly meetings and special events. The membership committee’s mission is to know who members are, and encourage participation, communication and recruitment.

CHAIR (S): Terri Buri 

SOCIAL MEDIA

DUTIES: The social media committee shall positively represent corporation at all functions, including monthly meeting and special events; prepare press releases for the corporation special events and member recognition; maintain the club Paducah Professional Women business Facebook page, Instagram and website, assist the membership committee in recruiting new members; also listing corporation events on the Chamber Calendar, VUE and other outlets. 

CHAIR (S): Lisa Lauck 

COMMUNITY PRESENCE

DUTIES: The community presence committee’s efforts strive to empower women through professional development with social media and marketing strategies. The strategies include but are not limited to creating community awareness with marketing materials, attend community events to support local businesses, and market PPW membership and achievements. The community presence committee shall maintain the Paducah Professional Women member connect Facebook page.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

DUTIES: The professional development committee shall encourage personal development within the membership, including organizing and coordinating the personal development program. A minimum of two programs will be offered annually. In addition, the professional development committee shall be in charge of communicating to the members’ opportunities such as corporation Leadercast Table, and other community development events that members may find useful.

AWARDS & SCHOLARSHIPS

DUTIES: The scholarship committee shall encourage members of corporations to apply for monies to be used for seminars, conferences, professional development, certification, and tuition assistance; screen applications on an annual or as needed basis; and award monies for such needs.

CHAIR (S): Tiffany Benberry

BYLAWS

DUTIES: The advisory/bylaws committee shall provide council and suggestions to the current executive committee; shall receive proposed amendments to the bylaws and prepare them for presentation to the membership; review the local organization’s bylaws annually; and suggest areas needing revision.

CHRISTMAS CHARITY AUCTION

DUTIES: The Christmas Charity committee shall plan, organize, and execute the annual event.
